Noir

The 90's are getting to me.
I really never thought that I would be inspired by this--to me--the most terrible fashion era.
Only, it wasn't until I was a bit older and realized that every fashion era, even one that allowed blue eyeshadow, is pretty epic. Now I dearly hate the 00's.
The 90's are generally brilliant not only in terms of fashion (and try to think high fashion--long, gold-buttoned blazers, shoulder pads, velvet scrunchies), but also in terms of cinematography. A return to the 1940's and 1950's film noir genre was now once again popularized by flicks such as Pulp Fiction, Fight Club, or Blue Velvet. According to everybody's trusty friend Wikipedia:

Film noir (/fɪlm nwɑr/; French pronunciation: ​[film nwaʁ]) is a cinematic term used primarily to describe stylish Hollywood crime dramas, particularly those that emphasize cynical attitudes and sexual motivations. 

Well I'm all about cynical attitudes and sexual motivations and in terms of stylish crime, I threw in a Burberry trench coat for your pleasure. <3

90-te roky ma dostávajú. 
Naozaj by som si nikdy nepomyslela ze budem inšpirovaná touto--pre mňa odpornou--dobou. Časom si uvedomujem, že každá doba je dobrá, aj taká ktorá dovoluje modré očné tiene. Okrem rokov nultých (2000-2010), tie su odporné.
90-te roky su skvelé nie len v oblasti módy (a myslím high fashion-- dlhé saká a zlaté gombíky, vypchávky a zamatové gumičky) ale aj v oblasti kinematografie. Návrat k žánru film noir 40-50-tych rokov bol opäť popularizovaný filmami ako Pulp Fiction, Fight Club alebo Blue Velvet. Podľa Wikipédie je Film Noir termín, ktorý označuje štýlovú Hollywoodsku krimi drámu, príznačnú pre cinizmus a sexuálne motivácie.
Nuž.. ja som plná cinizmu a sexuálnych motivácií a ak vám chýba ten krimi komponent, tak som k outfitu prihodila svoj Burberry trenčkot.
